You should still go to court and inform the court and your lawyer that your child refuses to go to court. The court will likely order that an arrest warrant be issued for him or her - it's called a writ of attachment. And if your child is arrested he or she may have to stay in juvenile detention until the court releases your child or the case is resolved.
